Cancellations

The Savoy Theatre has a no refund policy. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case bases for Savoy Presents productions. (e.g., death in the family, medical emergency, extreme weather, etc.) Rental events at the venue have a strict no-refund policy.

Patrons with tickets to postponed or cancelled events that are due to COVID-19 are given the option to have a full refund of their tickets, donate the price of the ticket to the venue, keep the ticket value as a credit on their account, or may hold over their seats for a new rescheduled performance date.

In the event of extreme weather forecasts, the Savoy Theatre retains the right to cancel an event. All attempts will be made to contact ticket holders and notify the change in event status.

If you no longer can attend an event date, contact our box office and we will make every effort to accommodate you for another evening. There is a small added ticketing fee to exchange tickets for another night.

Theatre Etiquette Reminders

No food or drink is allowed within the theatre, except for water.

Behaviours like talking, coughing, or unwrapping candies, can be distracting to those around you in the audience and on the stage. Please do your best to be courteous to those around you.

The Savoy Theatre is a scent free facility.

Theatre management reserves the right to ask unruly patrons to leave the facility if they are exhibiting problematic or abusive behaviours. Patrons that are removed from the property will not be given a refund for their tickets.

Photography and Cellphones

Recording performances in any way is strictly prohibited. Photographs or video of performers or performances is not allowed unless otherwise stated.

Please turn off your cellular devices before the show. Texting or speaking on the phone during a performance is not forbidden.

Latecomers

Latecomers will be permitted entry to the theatre at the discretion of Savoy management.

Patrons are welcome to leave the auditorium to use the washroom facilities at any time. Please note that you will need the permission of a theatre representative to re-enter the theatre during an appropriate break in the program.
